Veren Drakewell was a member of the Brotherhood of the Cloak in Mulmaster and secretly a member of the Cult of the Howling Hatred.[1]

Veren was a low-ranking Cloak who also ran a shop in the city. Secretly, however, he spied on the Cloaks under the orders of his cultist masters.

In 1491 DR, Zel Tregarthen's section discovered his true loyalties and raided his shop.[1]
