Vodka, or sarrak,[1] was a clear and high-proof distilled alcoholic beverage rarely encountered in the Realms.[2] It was distilled from potatos and originated from Rashemen and Impiltur.[1]

Famously, the great wizard Otiluke of Oerth, in his younger days, partook in boastful dares from Bigby, chugging thirteen liters of vodka whilst being protected by a cloak of protection.[2]
In the late 15th century DR, the author of Moxy's Mixology Manual shared their denigrating opinion on mixed drinks made with vodka, vermouth, and rum in their book.[2]
