The Vuthivyr were a civilization of tren beneath the Plains of Purple Dust.[2][1]
Description[]
Appearance and genealogy wise, Vuthivyr were a crossbreed of lizardfolk and troglodytes.[1] Their height was double the size of a normal lizardfolk.[3]
Personality[]
Those who came into contact with the Vuthivyr considered them a cruel race.[3] After the Spellplague of 1385 DR, the word 'insane' was could also be added next to the previously mentioned trait.[1]
Society[]
The Vuthivyr built their civilization and settled in the ruins of the Imaskar Empire. Many of them were tainted by the Far Realm energies unleashed during the Spellplague, which also inflicted a mild form of plaguechange (also known as a spellscar) on each and every tren.[1] They lived in harmony with various aberrations[1] and creatures long-thought extinct roamed their Underdark realms.[3] These reptilian humanoids, on top of being skillful in magic[3] also horded Imaskari artifacts of great power and importance.[1]
