Wands Villa was the family estate of the Waterdhavian noble house Wands.[1][2][5]

The Wands Villa was located in the North Ward of Waterdeep,[1][2][3][6][7] on the corner of Magecourt and Shando Street. It stood down the road from the Hothemer Villa.[3][4]
Structure[]
Like many Waterdhavian villas, this was a walled estate featuring a landscaped garden,[6][note 1] with the entrance to the estate being a massive oaken gate.[8] The building complex consisted of two high-quality buildings, one that was five stories tall and another that stood a three stories tall,[1][2] one being the mansion proper and the other a guesthouse.[6] Notably, the mansion was adorned with twin towers[8][9] over a large central chamber.[8]
On the exterior walls of the estate's buildings were hung purple banners bearing the Wands family's insignia.[8]
Interiors[]
The interior of the Wands mansion featured a long marble entry hall, leading to a sweeping staircase. The second floor featured a gallery.[8] Inside the cellars of the estate, there stood a vault of artifacts that had permanent web spells draped across their ceiling.[10]
Inhabitants[]
In addition to the Wands family, the house was inhabited by iron golem servitors[8] and a watchspider that watched over their artifact vault. If ever there was more than two intruders, the watchspider was trained to drink from a basin above the webs that held a unique variant of potion of heroism.[10]
History[]
In the late 14th century DR, the Wands family put a great many magical wards in place over the villa to protect the household's members from increasing attacks by creatures from the Far Realm.[11]
