The War sphere was a group of spells granted to crusaders. These spells focused on giving advantage in large-scale conflicts, rather than individual or small party confrontations.[1]

Intermediate divine casters had the ability to use:
- entrench
- leadership/doubt
- tanglefoot/selective passage
Those with a high level of skill had access to:
- disguise
- illusory artillery
Powerful spellcasters of such a sphere were able to cast:
- gravity variation
Divine spellcasters who had mastered this sphere could cast:
- illusory fortifications
- shadow engines[note 1]
