Effects[]
When cast, this spell protected the caster or a targeted individual from cold. It prevented frostbite, hypothermia and other dangerous effects of an extremely cold climate. The spell also offered minimal protection against magical cold.[1][2]
Components[]
In addition to verbal and somatic components, the spell required a material component: a piece of down feather from a goose.[1][2]
