The Warriors of the Star,[1] also known as the Warstars,[2] were an order of knights from Tethyr that served as bodyguards to the King and Queen of the realm. These 40-strong guardians were led by the Monarch's Champion, Vander Stillhawk, from their barracks located within the Royal Palace of Faerntarn.[1]
Among their duties were to act as personal bodyguards for the monarchy, and screen all the court visitors for anyone who may be a threat or whose loyalties may conflict with the crown.[1]
