A waymeet was the name given to temporary villages of tents that cropped up at large campgrounds found in Narfell.[2][1]
Description[]
Typically, any of the larger campsites along the worn roads of Narfell could be considered a waymeet.[1] The Nar tribes shared these sites freely between themselves and even with outsiders.[3] Given their transitory nature, the population of a waymeet was highly variable.[1]
History[]
Some of the larger and more frequently used waymeets in 1357 DR included Jiyyd, Peltarch, Nobis, and Bezentil.[1] Jiyyd and Peltarch had become permanent settlements by 1479 DR.[4]
