A werestag was a type of lycanthrope that could take the form of a stag or a stag-like hybrid.[1]
Description[]
Werestags were able to take different forms. The first was the animal-form, where the lycanthrope could transform into a stag. The other form was the hybrid form, where the lycanthrope would appear as a shaggy humanoid with the head of a stag.[1]
Notable werestags[]
- Yimluth, a powerful archmage who was believed to have attained near-immortality.[2]
- Bhyrindaar Tellynnan, a moon elf who went by the name Silverhart after contracting lycanthropy from a human he slew.[3]
