Wessalen was the prelate or leader of the Order of the Radiant Heart in the Amnian city of Athkatla during the mid–14th century DR.[1]

As part of his duties to the order's chapterhouse, Prelate Wessalen would preside over the judgement and induction of new knights that had completed their careers as squires.[1]
