The Whitsunday family was a prominent lineage in Selgaunt, Sembia, during the 14th century DR.[1]

By Year of the Unstrung Harp, 1371 DR, Sturge Whitsunday was a prominent scion of the family, the eldest son, at 27 years old. Despite his father having died, he was not quite head of the family, strongly suggesting he had a living uncle or grandfather. His sister, Aleine Whitsunday, was 21 years old.[1]
