Wilson was a particularly refined grizzly bear that lived in Amn during the mid–14th century DR.[1]

"Growl, roar!"
— Wilson

Personality[edit | edit source]

While Wilson was in fact a genteel and sophisticated bear, he was also described as being "of a slashing temperament".[1]

Like other bears, Wilson did not enjoy the taste of potion, with the exception of potions of healing.[1]

Abilities[edit | edit source]

In contrast to his typical tender nature, Wilson was capable of entering into a rage in combat. During this time he became impervious to a variety of ill effects.[1]

While others could seemingly understand Wilson's snorts and growls, he was unable to communicate in Common.[1]

Relationships[edit | edit source]

Along with the other individuals of the hidden refuge, Wilson counted the elven alchemist Zaviak among his friends.[1]

History[edit | edit source]

Wilson was named after his father, who was believed to have also been a bear.[1]

Some time during or before the Year of the Gauntlet, 1369 DR, Wilson was captured and imprisoned by the animal trader Jolstead.[1]
