Words to Would-be Apprentices was a book penned by Khelben Arunsun, the Blackstaff of Waterdeep in the Year of the Sword and Stars, 1332 DR.[2]

Khelben Arunsun's book was a collection musings and lessoned aimed at his potential future pupils. The book was also a warning to future wizards about the dangers of the Art.[2]

History[]

By the late 14th century DR, a copy of Words to Would-be Apprentices was collected in the annals of the citadel library of Candlekeep on the Sword Coast.[1]
