Yathchol webriders were generally members of the chitine race from the settlement of Yathchol who used magic to travel through webs.[1]
Description[]
Anyone who possessed the capacity to create a web through natural or magical was able to become a webrider. Being skilled in stealth, rogues seemed to easily adapt to the new abilities that came with this specialization.[1]
Yathchol webriders believed in a mystical construct called the "Overweb", a web that connected all of the Underdark and allowed those who possessed the knowledge of it to travel along it. Because of this knowledge, Yathchol webriders were capable of moving at great speeds, ignoring barriers of rock that would force others to make detours.[1]
Yathchol webriders formed very close communities. As such, they generally integrated into chitine society, though non-chitines may have created their own communities. Some webriders may have walked the infinite paths of the Overweb alone. Their dispositions and alignments varied just like most other groups, although communities of these webriders typically shared the same views.[1]
Abilities[]
Yathchol webriders were skilled at using webs to hide from the attentions of others. In addition, they could instantly travel between separate webs. As the Yathchol webrider became more experienced, the distances traveled could become considerably longer.[1]
