Yazid was a skilled desert rider and member of the House of Hanif tribe in the Haunted Lands of interior Zakhara around 1367 DR.[note 1][1][2]
Description[]
Though short, Yazid was extremely strong. He inherited his father's sharp senses and features.[1]
Activities[]
Dissatisfied with the state of the tribe, Yazid believe they could build their own enlightened city were they not tethered to the court in Huzuz.[1]
Yazid was sympathetic to the House of Hotek's quarrel with Hiyal and its Sultana.[3]
History[]
Yazid was lost in a sand storm and separated from his tribe for five days. He spent that time among the jann who divulged wondrous secrets of the future.[1]
Relationships[]
Yazid was one of two sons born to Sheikh Kaldhun bin Hanif. Mu'awiya was his half-brother.[1] Yazid was conceived on the same day as his brother and born later on the same day as his brother.[2]
