Yusef was a faris and the eldest son of Al'ia bint Hazir and Sultan Yusef al-Wadi of Gana in the Pearl Cities region of west Zakhara.[1]

Yusef was headstrong and typically saw things in black in white.[1]

He had a mole under his right eye in the shape of a butterfly.[1]
History[]
As with all of his siblings, Yusef's parentage was kept secret from the population of Gana. Yusef was raised in a monastery high in Al-Yabki Mountains.[1]
