The Zun (pronounced: /ˈzʌnZUNN[1]) family were members of the nobility in Waterdeep circa the Year of Wild Magic, 1372 DR. Their interests included raising cattle and contracting hireswords.[1][2][3]

Organization[]

The Zun clan were cattle herders with a stake in the mercenary business. In the mid–14th century, the patriarch was Lungar Zun[3] but by 1372 DR, the family of thirty-one nobles was headed by his son Lungar Zun II, with his consort, Triine Zun, and their son Olsztel.[1][2]

Base of Operations[]

The Zun family villa was located at the southeast corner of Tarsar's Street and Saerdoun Street in the North Ward. It rested near the northern edge of the Cliffwatch and had a commanding view of the countryside below and to the east of town from the four-story mansion. To the north, just across the street, was Endcliff Tower.[4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11]

History[]

The Zun family's ancestors were originally from Tethyr, and they were granted nobility in the Year of the Consuming Glory, 1103 DR.[2]
