Zzar was a fortified sherry wine popular in Waterdeep.[6]
Description[]
Zzar had a fiery orange color and an almond scent and flavor.[7] Many elves disdained it, considering it vulgar.[1] It was made by fortifying sluth (a dry, sparkling white wine) with an almond liqueur.[8]
Availability[]
Zzar was produced at wineries such as the House of Good Spirits in Waterdeep.[8] It was the feature drink served at the Sword and Sash festhall in Tegal's Mark.[9]
It was also available from the Yawning Portal, where it was commonly ordered by Esvele Rosznar.[10]
